System-in-Package
(SiP) is a
complete IEEE
802.11b/g radio
solution. Unlike
a typical module,
the W2SW0001
includes all
radio components,
clocking and
regulation for a
complete WLAN
radio subsystem.
Integration
of the W2SW0001
is a simple
process of
connecting our
SiP to your
product's
interfaces,
antenna port and
single 3.3vdc
power supply.
All necessary
firmware and
drivers are
included.
Based
upon Marvell's
industry leading
88W8686, the
small, compact,
low power design
is targeted
specifically for
the developers
of portable
electronics such
as MP3/MP4
players, PDAs
and Smart Phones.
The
W2SW0001
features one of
the smallest
footprints in
the industry and
provides the
interfaces
commonly
required by
handheld/portable
devices. The
W2SW0001 gives
developers a
quicker time to
market, and
lower cost to
integrate WiFi™
functionality
